If you own locomotives and/or cars or would simply like to participate, consider membership.
Owning equipment is not a requirement for membership.
REGULAR
$120/year,
$50 Initiation
Members must undergo a one-year probationary period, work on at least 10 occasions at not less than 3 hours each, and pay a one-time $50.00 initiation fee. If you reside outside of the 50-mile radius from the PLS Club site but reside within the state of Pennsylvania, you are exempt from the work requirement.
ASSOCIATE
$35/year,
no Initiation
Though there is no work requirement for Associate members, your participation on work days (Saturdays and Wednesdays) as well as listed events is surely welcomed. Associate members may be permitted to own rolling stock. However if you own or acquire an operating locomotive, you must apply for Regular Membership.
MINOR
(Under 18)
Annual Dues $35
Minor is an Associate class for young members. It requires indemnification and parental release of liability.
